It
is here the data about each citizen is stored in
high-end fault-tolerant database system. The data
stored in this server will be queried by the external
entities like State National Centre, Province National
Centre etc. The following diagram demonstrates the
organization of the system in an overall perspective.
The
process of implementation of the NIC begins with data
migration. The data may be residing in paper files and
other systems in a dispersed manner. The task will be
to accumulate such information from various sources
and the same will be processed to suit the new system
and stored in the central database kept in the NIC at
a very high level of security.
The
complete information about the citizens, the
resources, the various other government and
departmental activities will be consolidated and kept
in the central data repository. This helps the
government to access any information regarding
anything in no time. This speeds up the activities
which enables the government to govern the country in
the most scientific and economic way.
The
citizens are going to be benefited by means of single
window clearances for their day to day affairs with
the government. No more running around to obtain
certificates from the government. All the information
are available in every nook and corner of the country.
