To identify a consistent medium of communication with the citizens for official information interchange has been a major challenge for the governmental organizations. In this direction, Ashrafcom has come up with a proposal of establishing an official Government portal through which such information exchange can be accomplished in a cost-effective manner.

The proposed portal for the government will incorporate various features using which it
can act as a primary source of governmental information and services that the
citizens can access unattended by any third person. Hosted in a fast and secure Internet server and properly maintained this portal can address the primary needs of the citizens of the state to get services like forms, gazettes, etc. using their social security numbers.
